Friday - Rebecca Black

Okay, so there has been a tooooon of buzz on Rebecca Black's music video, Friday.
When I first saw this, it was only because itskingsleybitch on Youtube made an "Overexposed" video on it.
It, at the beginning, says to click on a link so you can watch Rebecca Black's video.
I clicked.
And what came next was pure...
Filth.
I'm only saying that because I don't want to even compare it to Glee Season 2, which is most definitely garbage, but it deserves a word of disgust.

Rebeca Black cannot sing. Even auto-tune couldn't save her.
Most of the lyrics included something about "Friday" (more commonely heard as 'Fried Eggs'), Fun with friends, the weekend, or what day it happens to be. (someone counted, she says the words: fun, party, friday, and weekend over 80 times throughout this video. yeah. I'm serious)
Now I feel mean, because the kid is only 13, and seems to just be singing, which is what she loves.
But too bad, I'm not the only one, so here's a summary of the video.
It starts out with her trying to harmonize, sounding... Ok. I guess if it got better from there, I might be okay with listening to it.
Then it zooms in on her with bed-head hair, all curly and un-tamed.
She talks about getting "fresh" and going downstairs.
Getting her bowl, having cereal, which is probably relevant to a music video about the day of the week. Not.
And then her family is rushing, a lot, I guess.
She talks about catching her bus, oh!
And then she sees her frehhhhnndssss (from this point, I was just wondering, is she promoting the idea to skip school? because obviously, no bus comes, she does not go to school, instead to go in her friends convertable, and he is CLEARLY not 16, so he really shouldn't be driving anyways.)
She thinks about which seat to take, and then since the front seat is taken by some weird chick who does a little pedo wave to her, she has to take the back.
Dammit.
Then start the "Friday fun!".
Because she launches into her song.
"Friday, friday, gittin' down on frieeeday"
And then she somehow is in front of a green screen of being on a highway, sitting on the back of a car.
She refers to how "I got this, you got this"... Yeah.
Her friend on her right is acknowledged, but what about the girl on the left? She doesn't even looked phased. I'd jump out of the non-moving convertable at this point, either from hurt feelings or bleeding ears.
She pulls up to a house party, in an... Acceptable outfit, waves, and then talks more about Friday and the weekend.
Ooh, and partying. YEAH!
Then she gives a 1st grade lesson.
"Yesterday was Thursday, today it is Friday"
Then she says "we we we so excited". Even though this low-budget thing was only $4000, I think for that amount she could've changed it to something more... I don't know. PROPER ENGLISH LIKE?!!?
Then 1st grade lesson part 2.
"Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards".
No, really? I thought it was Wednesday, Saturday, Friday, Monday.
And then an old dude raps. Okay fine, only about... 30.
Which makes it a worse song...
More Friday.
More getting down.
More looking forward to the weekend.
More partying partying YEAH!

Glee. Season 2.

Okay, so honestly, I want to be nice, because after the first season, I was really pumped. The first season was... Good.
So when the second season started, I was busy. I didn't know it premiered, or something. So after a while, I tried to watch a few online episodes. It is... Honestly?
Trash.
While the vocals are good, the acting is mediocre, and the plot is TERRIBLE. From girl-on-girl, to girl-on-wheel-chair-kid, to just flat out weird romances that I thought were left in the dust.
I've heard my friends talk about it, and I mean, I guess if you happened to miss the only GOOD season, you might not think the second season is total and utter garbage.
The music isn't bad, I'll give them that.
But while their singing Teenage Dream, "Hell to the No", Raise Your Glass, I liked it much better when they were singing Jump, Don't Stop Believing, and Mercy. Songs I actually got to hear the older versions of. I almost feel like it had a meaning. They don't have to bring in all these dumb plot charectars like Beastly. I miss Emma! She may still be in there, God knows, but since I haven't heard much about her, I'll assume she's not.
Sue seems okay, much like the first, trying to destruct Will's glee club.

Oh well, maybe I'm just small-minded... If that's a phrase.

Random Celebrity: Auburn

As you may know her from All About Him, a song she debuted by herself, La La La, which is featuring Iyaz, or Perfect Two, a cute love song, Auburn is a fantastic singer.

Her full name is Auburn Williams. Auburn was born in 1988 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She began singing at a very young age but didn't think about becoming professional singer until later on in life. She began her career on Myspace (dot com), by putting songs out and sharing them with her friends. She started to get some fans, and soon enough, JR Rotem of Beluga Heights discovered her.
She declined to sign to a label though, and recorded her own independant studio album.
Perfect Two was her first single, and soon after, she signed with Beluga Heights.

Since then, she's released La La La (Feat. Iyaz), opened for Jason DeRulo's concerts, and released All About Him & All About Him Pt. 2, featuring Tyga.

Hmm.
How do I put this?
It was good.
Not fabulous, but ok.
I mean, Michelle? I was actually with Chris on this one. LEAVE HER THE HELL ALONE.
She practically beat out most of the other girls, anyways! What was with the corner of bitchy brunettes? I mean really.
I just felt like they were really ganging up on like... everyone.
I mean from the annoying girls who couldn't go one sentence to the next without saying "like, um, I just feel like"
It was good, I guess it put a lot out there...
Ashley S. wants closure, and good for her!
Ashley H. is an awesome friend to everyone. She tore basically no one down, and that's good for her.
I respect the people who don't just have to tear people down to make them look/feel good!
When I was reading the bios, people thought Jackie was too good for him.
Ha!!! Yeah right!!! She basically just said "Um, you're like a spider" "um, your really annoying" "Um, your not my friend"
